京版画
Kyo Hanga

There are many types of woodblock prints, including religious, practical, and artistic, and they were created in many places, later developing into Ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Kyo-hanga are woodblock prints made in Kyoto. The techniques of Gofun-suri and Mica-suri, which Kyo-hanga specializes in, have developed in line with the climate of Kyoto, along with other traditional crafts and arts. Traditional woodblock prints continue to be produced through the collaborative work of painters, carvers, and printers, and recently, some artists have been using mineral pigments in their printmaking.
