Hariko no Tora (張子の虎) is a traditional Japanese papier-mâché tiger from the Aizu region, symbolizing strength, bravery, and protection. Made of lightweight materials, these tigers are typically bright orange with black stripes and often feature a movable, bobbing head. Historically given to children as a talisman for health and courage, they remain popular during the Boys' Festival (Tango no Sekku) as symbols of good fortune and resilience.
