埼玉県越谷市、春日部市などで生産される張子のだるま人形。越谷でつくられるようになったのは、主な出荷先であった江戸に近く、他の地域に比べて、運搬中にだるま同士がぶつかって壊れることが少なかったことが背景にあるといわれています。越谷張子だるまは他の産地のだるま等に比較して、色が白く、やや鼻が高い、上品で優しい顔立ち、「やさしくて美男子」な表情が特色のひとつです。

越谷張子だるま (Koshigaya Hariko Daruma) is a traditional papier-mâché Daruma doll made in Koshigaya. The process involves layering washi paper to form the shape, followed by drying and painting the doll with vibrant colors.
