＜Bamboo and Wood＞

Imaichino no Hikimono

栃木の伝統工芸品。桑、桜、欅、栃、槐（えんじゅ）等を材料に、ロクロを用いてくり抜いた湯飲みや花瓶等は、それぞれの木目が生かされ、心が癒されるような味わいがあります。

In Tochigi, traditional craftsmen use a potter's wheel to carve mulberry, cherry, keyaki, chestnut, and sophora japonica wood into teacups and vases, each of which is unique.. The methods they use bring out the natural grain of each individual piece of wood.
