Vision

In order to break down preconceived notions about lacquer and build an image of it as a familiar part of everyday life, a small space called "Jet Black Space" was created where people could experience the black of lacquer with their whole body. This project was undertaken by lacquer artist and museum curator Yuki Kajikawa.
